Introduction to Powertex Workshop

The world of Powertex will take you on a fun and fascinating adventure! A highly versatile product, Powertex makes most porous surfaces hard and weather resistant giving form and structure to cloth, paper, wood, gauze, cardboard and more.

In this workshop, Anya will take participants through the process of creating an imaginative angel sculpture with wood, tin foil and fabric. Personal touches are welcomed and encouraged!

About the Instructor:
Anya is a Whitby mixed-media sculpture artist and certified Powertex instructor. She has been creating sculptures for over a decade. Her favourite materials to work with are textiles and wood. Most of the materials used in her projects are reclaimed and recycled. Anya likes to incorporate unusual materials and bright colours into her works.
