The Oshawa Art Association hosts a Spring Art Festival every year at Camp Samac in the Council Hall. The show is for OAA members to show and sell their work, and you’ll find 70 exhibits with paintings in all mediums (oil, watercolour, acrylic, mixed media) and also pottery, carving and sculpture. It is a great tribute to all of the amazing and talented artists in Durham Region.
The Art Festival runs for three days, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm each day. Camp Samac is a beautiful wooded area located at Colin Rd and Simcoe Street North. A lovely setting for an art show with plenty of parking. We also operate a lunch counter with many tasty treats provide by Berry Hill Restaurant.
Everyone at every age is welcome and there is no fee to enter. If you wish to make a small donation, you’ll receive a ticket for an hourly draw. If your ticket is pulled, you can chose your piece of art from the donations of the artists in the show.
We hope to see you there!
Note: Camp Samac has two entrances. Access to the Spring Art Festival is through the gate at 275 Conlin Road East, Oshawa.
