Join Tony Johnson in his workshop on watercolour painting.
Experience the freedom of painting with watercolour. Tony will guide you with the use of different brush strokes and techniques to accomplish a beautiful painting during this workshop.
Classes are small for more individual attention. A list of supplies will be emailed to artists attending.
OAA Members $75 | Non-OAA Members $85

Registration by cheque and e-transfer to oshawa.art.association@gmail.com is also accepted. The workshop will run when we reach our total of 6 people. At that time, there will be no refunds. No carry over to other workshops. Should the workshop be canceled due to lack of people, then payment will be returned.

About the Instructor:
Many of Tony’s paintings and works reflect his unique sense of humour and the more human side of people. Working in watercolour, acrylic and oils, Tony is constantly taking these mediums into new directions. A versatile artist, his work is representational and he is noted for generous use of bright, vivid colours. Tony also specializes in watercolour portraits. Tony is a mural artist and has completed four murals in downtown Oshawa, one in Port Perry, 20 wall murals for Children’s Aid and one for Lakeridge Oshawa Hospital and many residential and business murals. His formal training includes classes at the University of Windsor and studies with Jack Reid, Gordon MacKenzie, Margaret Roseman, Marlene Jofriet and Zolton Szabo.
